Ileana Salvador, a former multi-medaled walking race athlete and member of the staff of the Embassy of Italy in Stockholm, was chosen as torchbearer during the journey of the Olympic flame in the Municipality of San Donà di Piave in view of the upcoming Milan-Cortina winter Olympics.
