On February 5th, 2018, the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the second edition of the award ceremony reserved for researchers and “startuppers” working\u00a0abroad. The ceremony will take place\u00a0in the framework of the Scientific\u00a0Attach\u00e9s Conference and\u00a0is intended\u00a0to reward researchers who distinguished themselves within the country they are currently working in. The program is part of\u00a0the project promoting the connection between research and enterprises.<\/p>\n
The award is divided in two cathegories: a) “senior” researcher; b) successful “startupper” and\u00a0is represented by a medal and a diploma issued by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Both will\u00a0be handed out during the Conference.<\/p>\n
The “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” was founded to highlight the contribution made by scientists who, by performing their researches abroad, made significative contributions to the development of science and technology, increasing\u00a0Italy’s relations with foreign countries as well as international organizations. Further information as well as the participation form can be found here<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n The “Italian-speaking Innovation\u00a0Award” (\u201cL\u2019innovazione che parla italiano\u201d) was\u00a0created\u00a0to\u00a0reward the highly innovative value of technological startups working abroad\u00a0and who were\u00a0founded by Italian citizens.
