The Embassy of Italy organizes on March 20th the Italian Design Day 2019.
An Open Exhibition with the Italian companies WASP (3D Printing for Architecture), Poltronova, Zanotta and Alessi will launch the event through the presentation of their business experience and iconic products, linked to the theme of the event “Design and City of Future” chosen for the III edition of the IID.
The IID will follow with a round table discussion “Critical Utopias. Superstudio and the City: From The Continuous Monument to Supersurface” with Gabriele Mastrigli, Italian Ambassador of Design 2019 in Sweden and Associate Professor of Theory and Architectural Design at University of Camerino, Peter Lang, Professor in Architectural Theory and History at the Royal Institute of Art and Elisabetta Trincherini, Head of the Poltronova Historical Archive.
