The Italian Air Force’s national aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori, will perform on 22–23 August 2026 in Linköping (Sweden) to mark the centenary of the Swedish Air Force.

The formation, comprising ten Aermacchi MB-339 aircraft, is the world’s largest aerobatic team and performs both in Italy and abroad. It has taken part in over 1,500 air shows in 49 different countries.

The first aerobatic flight school was founded as early as 1930 at Udine Campoformido Airport. The Frecce Tricolori are now based at Rivolto Airport, outside Udine.

The display, organised to mark the centenary of the Swedish Air Force at Malmen Airport, will also feature performances by other international air patrols.
