On Thursday 29 January, the Italian Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi met in Stockholm the Swedish Minister for Justice, Gunnar Strömmer, and the Minister for Migration, Johan Forssell.
During the discussions, shared positions emerged on common issues ranging from urban security to the fight against drug trafficking, organized crime, and illegal immigration.
Minister Piantedosi then visited the headquarters of the Swedish National Police and the Swedish Migration Agency to exchange views on their respective approaches.
