Yesterday, in the context of the “Second Week of Italian Cuisine in Sweden”, a reception at the Residenza d’Italia in Stockholm was dedicated to promoting products from territories affected by the recent earthquake in central Italy. A truly icon of the Italian cuisine, pasta all’Amatriciana, introduced the guests to a tasty journey to discover the authentic flavours of regions such as Lazio, Abruzzo and Basilicata. Producers from the said regions (Caseificio Storico di Amatrice, Tenuta Masciangelo) and the renowed chef Luigi Roma (member of the Association of the Italian Chefs in Sweden), interpreted the gastronomic culture of these places. The evening was enriched by the performance of the well-known artist Eddie Oliva, who from the 1970s was able to assert himself in Sweden as an extraordinary interpreter of the Italian musical tradition. Special thanks to Barilla and Ferrero, main sponsors of the event.
