1) Award “Farnesina – Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award”
The eighth edition of the award is dedicated to senior researchers of Italian nationality who have distinguished themselves abroad for high scientific merit. The applications will be examined by a Scientific Committee made up of representatives of the MAECI and MUR, the Presidents of the main public research bodies and the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI). For all information regarding requirements, terms and methods of sending applications, necessary forms and evaluation of applications, please consult the Notice.
Applications for Italian researchers working in Sweden must be sent to the email address: stoccolma.scienza@esteri.it no later than 15 January 2025.
2) Award “L’innovazione che parla italiano”
The award is aimed at founding members of technological startups operating in Sweden, which have a high innovative value, and were founded by Italian citizens. The applications will be examined by a Technical Committee coordinated by PNI Cube (an association that brings together incubators and Italian academic “business plan competitions”, created with the aim of stimulating the birth and accompanying to the market new businesses with a high content of provenance knowledge university). Applications for Startups operating in Sweden must be sent to the email address: stoccolma.scienza@esteri.it no later than 15 January 2025.
3) Award “Science, She Says!”
The 2025 prize, now in its third edition, will be awarded to five female foreign researchers under 40, coming from as many geographical areas: Africa and the Middle East; Asia and the Pacific; Europe; Central and South America; North America. The applications will be examined by the Scientific Committee also established for the award of the “Farnesina Award – Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award”, which will select a winner for each geographical area. The ceremony for the three Awards will be held during the 2025 Edition of the Conference of Italian Scientific and Space Attaché in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
