ITALY – SWEDEN, NEW CALL FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL COOPERATION OPEN FOR THE THREE-YEAR PERIOD 2024-2026

The Italian Embassy in Stockholm informs that in the framework of the Agreement on cultural, educational, scientific and technological cooperation between the Italian Republic and the Kingdom of Sweden, signed in Rome on 29 November 2001 and entered into force on 23 January 2007, the General Directorate for the Promotion of the Country System – Office IX – of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the General Directorate of the Swedish Research Council (VR), have opened a call for the collection of proposals for the renewal of the Executive Program of scientific and technological cooperation for the three-year period 2024 – 2026.

 

Proposals must be written in English and have the same duration as the Executive Program (EP): three (3) years, 2024-2026; each principal investigator may submit only one proposal. The call is open to public or private (non-profit) research institutions.

 

The priority research areas of the new agreement are:

 

  1. Life sciences (molecular medicine, e-health & medical technologies; pharmaceutical chemistry & technology)
    2. Physics, accelerator technologies,
    Synchrotron Radiation and Neutron scattering researches with accelerators
    3.    Polar Sciences (Arctic and sub-Arctic regions)
    4.    Information and Communication Technologies
