The 8th edition of the Italian Design Day in the World, under the title ‘Manufacturing value – inclusiveness, innovation and sustainability’, is celebrated even in Stockholm today, 14 March.
The event has been conceived to promote Italian design abroad, supporting exports and the internationalization of companies in this sector, fostering international knowledge and exchange of the technical and creative skills of our operators, as well as the promotion of incoming tourist flows.
The inauguration ceremony will take place this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and can be followed online at this link.
The Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm is organising a conference today at 6.00 pm with Matteo Ragni, designer, architect and University lecturer, who will explore, together with Cristiano Pigazzini of Studio Note, the role of the designer as consultant and advisor in support of companies’ overall strategy, a profession that has evolved and enriched a great deal in recent decades.
